You can use the results of your data file analysis to create a target component library by clicking on Results | Generate Target Component List from the menu bar or by pressing +L.



Accept or change the default matching criteria as required. Where library search results are available, the top library match for each component will be carried through to the Target Component Library. Otherwise the default name will be used with an incremental number. Click next to generate the library.



Each target component consists of a number of mass:intensity pairs and the library may be edited at this stage or later using the Target Component Editor found in Methods | Target Components on the menu.

Click Save SWI File and the Target Component file will be saved.
