SpectralWorks was proud to sponsor the Metabolomics Workshop at this event. The symposium program covered a variety of topics in which metabolomics is playing an increasingly important role. The topics covered included plant, environmental and medical metabolomics as well as the analytical and bio-informatic aspects of data acquisition and processing. The use of our AnalyzerPro software was to the fore in a number of presentations.

During the workshop the experimental design of GC-MS and LC-MS metabolic profiling and quantitation was covered. The importance of bio-informatics and data processing were highlighted with specific case studies.

The workshop and the symposium attracted an international following who were impressed with the scope and quality of the event.
